02 September 2016 – The 4th Gibraltar Wine Festival
What better way to start the National Week celebrations than with a tasting a variety of good wine and some good
tapas? Come to Chatham Counterguard Strip at 5pm this Friday, it’s free entry! Just bring your good spirits + good friends and enjoy a night of drinks and food as well as entertainment from Southern Comfort and Shotbreak.
03 – 04 September 2016 – Gibraltar Music Festival
The two-day music festival gets better each year so if you haven’t bought tickets yet then what are you waiting for?! This year’s line-up looks promising with Stereophonics, Ne-yo, Zara Larsson, The Fratellis, All Saints and many more! 06 September 2016 – The National Celebration Concert
If you love classical music then this event is definitely for you. This year’s Classical Concert will be held at 8pm on Tuesday 6th September 2016 at St Michael’s Cave with performances by: Alisa Weilerstein – Cello, Rafael Payare – Conductor, and The European Symphony Orchestra. The programme includes L. van Beethoven: Symphony No 3, Op 55 “Eroica” and E. Elgar: Cello Concerto Op 85 (Alisa Weilerstein, cello). Tickets are sold at Sacarello’s Coffee Shop in Irish Town or the Silver Shop at 222 Main Street for £20 each.
10 September 2016 – Gibraltar National Day!!!
There is nothing quite like it anywhere in the world. Get your red and white outfit on and set off to Casemates Square by midday on Saturday to soak in the patriotic atmosphere and the sights and sounds because this is an annual experience you should never miss out on. On this same day as from 2pm the biggest dance event in Gibraltar is back! Monkey Rocks Festival Happening On National Day at Victoria’s Stadium!
